Of Counsel
Joe Fridkin is the former owner of The Fridkin Law Firm, LLC, which he founded in 2012 to serve clients in business and construction litigation, real estate and related commercial disputes, and plaintiff-side personal injury matters, while also providing general counsel services to small and mid-sized businesses.
Mr. Fridkin's practice is grounded in more than two decades of complex litigation and counseling across the construction and real estate sectors. His background includes personal injury litigation, land use and real estate development work, trial-intensive landlord-tenant and commercial litigation. He began his career as a judicial law clerk to Judge Jay A. Daugherty in the Circuit Court of Jackson County.
Clients and co-counsel rely on Mr. Fridkin for pragmatic, results-oriented strategies that integrate front-end contract and development tools with decisive litigation advocacy.
Mr. Fridkin earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and a B.A. in History from the University of Missouri–Kansas City . His professional recognition includes Kansas City Business Journal “Best of the Bar” in Business Litigation (2012–2015) and selection to Super Lawyers for Business Litigation (2016–2024) . He is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association, and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
He is licensed in Missouri and Kansas and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Outside the courtroom, Joe has a longstanding connection to competitive rugby, having been a Collegiate All-American in 1991 and currently serving as President of the Kansas City Blues Rugby Club.
